One person was flown by helicopter for treatment following a rollover crash on Highway 163 southeast of Monroe late Thursday.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports the unidentified driver was traveling westbound when he lost control and drove into the median.
From there, investigators say the car rolled onto the eastbound shoulder, where the vehicle came to rest near 150th Avenue. The man was ejected from the vehicle during the accident.
MercyOne Helicopter responded to transport the driver for serious injuries. Monroe Rescue, Prairie City Fire, and the Jasper County’s Sheriff’s Office assisted. The name of the person involved has not been released.
