Winter sports success can make a positive impact on education this year with your support.
The Knoxville Education Foundation is asking for participants in the 11th annual Shooting for the Future and Pins for Education programs. Donors pledge an amount to be donated per made three-point basket by Panther basketball players and pin by Panther wrestlers. At the end of the season the money collected will be used to provide scholarships for graduating seniors, support educational programs, and to implement special projects designed to provide educational opportunities to students. KEF President David Hoke tells KNIA/KRLS News the program has proven to be very successful over the years. Each year KEF strives to donate $1,000 to each school for their use in meeting a need they have for their students that falls outside the normal budget. A printable copy of the pledge form is in the link below.
