One person was injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 163 west of LDJ Manufacturing this afternoon.

Dispatchers received a report at 2 p.m. of a motorcycle heading eastbound that crossed over the median and both westbound lanes of traffic before coming to a rest in the ditch.

The operator was transported to Pella Regional Health Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Multiple crews from Pella Rural Fire and Pella Ambulance responded to assist. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
