The PCM School District has been informing parents about children’s safety when they walk to and from school.
Administration was informed last week that a student walking West on McMurray Street in Prairie City was approached by a man heading east. That man asked the middle school student for directions. He then backed up and asked the girl again. The man in the car was likely in his 40s and driving a white car with a spoiler. The incident has been reported to the Prairie City Police Department.
