The Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad is trying to get up from a season opening loss last week against Wayne tonight. The Sabers struggled to shoot the ball in their loss to Southeast Warren last Monday and Coach Mark Bacus tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he is hopeful the summer work will pay off as the season goes on. The boys also open up against the Falcons as the Sabers look to catch momentum from the football season and to transfer that to the basketball court as many of the players who played on the gridiron for the Sabers are also on the basketball court. Coach Alan Stewart says post player Jake Crozier is expected to have a big year inside along with Jake Knox, and returning leading scorer Cam Arkema will be looked on to have another solid year.
