The PCM Mustangs and the Pleasantville Trojans met on the mat Tuesday night along with Bondurant Farrar and Sigourney-Keota inside the PCM high school gym.

The Cobras of Sigourney-Keota would sweep the dual meet at PCM, defeating Pleasantville 42-26, PCM 40-39 and Bondurnt Farrar 39-38 to win the meet. The PCM Mustangs would finish 2-1 as a team on the night with the lone loss to the Cobras. As far as the match up between the Pleasantville Trojans and PCM Mustangs the Mustangs would take care of the Trojans by team score of 48-27. With 8 individual match ups on the mat the Mustangs would take 4 of them with wins coming at the; 138, 152, 160, and 195 weight classes. The big match up of the night at 152 pounds the #5 ranked wrestler in class 1A Griffen McBride would fall to the #7 ranked wrestler in class 2A Wes Cummings by a 10-5 decision. The Mustangs would score the rest of their team points off forfeits to beat the Trojans. The Mustangs will next travel to North Polk to take on both North Polk and Nevada inside the North Polk high school gym on Thursday night. The Pleasantville Trojans will also get back to the mat Thursday night as they host a double dual meet against Martensdale-St. Marys and Nodaway Valley.
