The PCM Mustang girls’ basketball team will get back to action tonight against Gilbert inside the PCM high school gym.
The Mustangs are coming off a pair of back to back road games at Pella Christian and at CMB last Monday and Tuesday. The girls would split those two games falling to the Eagles at Pella Christian before getting back in the win column against the Raiders of CMB. The loss to Pella Christian would be the first of the year for the Mustangs in their first road game of the year after 4 straight home games to open the season. The Mustangs will get back to the friendly confines of the PCM high school gym tonight before embarking on one of their longest road trips of the year as they travel to South Hamilton on Friday. After this stretch of games the Mustangs will then be home to face one of their toughest challenges all year as they take on Nevada on December 20th the last game before the winter break and against a team that swept the Mustang girls last season beating the Mustangs in their first meeting by forty. If the Mustang girls wish to be a state tournament team in 2016 this stretch of games could be a major factor in reaching that goal. It all starts tonight against Gilbert inside the PCM high school gym with tip off scheduled for 6 p.m.
