Prior to regular business at this week’s Pella School Board meeting, math teachers with Jefferson Intermediate School in Pella discussed ongoing initiatives and challenges they face.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the board has been meeting with teacher leader groups over the past few years to get a better understanding about specific programs in the district. Teachers shared their thoughts about mentoring in the classroom and other issues they face daily.
