A year with expectations of competing for a conference title within the tough Heart of Iowa Conference has started off the way the PCM Girls Basketball Team has wanted it, with an undefeated conference record.

The girls have put down Greene County, Roland-Story, Saydel, CMB, and Gilbert without much trouble, but have yet to face conference favorite Nevada which they will do on Tuesday. The Cubs thrashed the Mustangs last season, and are also unblemished in conference play, but PCM comes into the matchup on Tuesday with much more confidence.

The Mustangs have a balanced scoring roster, led by Kayla Jennings with 13.4 points, but more importantly have been tested in the early season against tough competition such as Pella Christian. PCM is 6-1 overall, and will face Nevada on Tuesday in a game that can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com via the KNIA2 stream.
