Following Monday’s electoral college vote selecting Donald Trump as the next President of the United States, many companies have certainty now to turn their attention to the new administration’s potential policies.

Vermeer Corporation CEO and President Jason Andringa was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), a group aimed at lobbying policymakers about issues impacting the industry.

Andringa says the board and others nationwide were already making preparations for the federal leadership transition. He says one bipartisan measure that looks to have a significant impact on the equipment manufacturing industry is the push for infrastructure upgrades.
