Mayor Jim Mueller says there was significant progress made on infrastructure and quality-of-life projects in 2016.
He was pleased with improvements made to roads, electric, water, and community services. Mueller says there were challenges the Pella City Council faced, especially during the Casey’s General Store zoning request and site plan meetings. He says they were appreciative of the feedback they received for a wide range of topics. Mueller says the council does their best to be receptive to the opinions and desires of Pella’s citizens.
