The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Knoxville Police Department assisted Lucas County officials in stopping a stolen vehicle after it came north into Marion County on Highway 14 with Lucas Sheriff’s Deputies and Chariton Police Officers in pursuit.

Lieutenant Aaron Fuller tells KNIA/KRLS News an officer deployed spike strips to stop the car. The spike strips deflated the tires, causing the vehicle to veer into a ditch. The vehicle, stolen in Des Moines, was driven by 27-year-old Jenny Joann Hass of Des Moines. Hass was transported to the Marion County Jail to await transfer to the Lucas County Jail for charging and booking.
