Pella Regional Health Center’s Director of Clinic Services has been working since she started late last year to improve programs in the region.

Kristi Braafhart tells KNIA/KRLS News the focus of clinic work recently across the country has been to prevent hospital visits by improving health before symptoms become serious.

“The big focus in health care has really shifted from ‘when your sick, we treat you’ to preventive care and keeping patients healthy,” she says.

Pella Regional Health Center has clinic offices in Pella, Knoxville, Bussey, Monroe, Sully, New Sharon, and Ottumwa.
