Steve McCombs of Tracy has taken a seat on the Marion County Board of Supervisors.
McCombs, a lifelong resident of Marion County, tells KNIA/KRLS he has a wealth of experience in county service to bring to the board. He has worked for the Roads Department for more than twenty years and is also a long time member of the Sheriff’s Reserve. McCombs says he looks forward to bringing his experience to bear on problems facing the county, but says he feels the trend in county infrastructure development is positive and he wants to be a part of continuing it. He specifically mentioned the contributions of County Engineer Tyler Christian in improving roads and bridges in the county. McCombs says his past work with the supervisors gives him an advantage in learning the ropes as he transitions into his new role.
