Clutch shooting by Loras would spur a comeback attempt on the Simpson Women’s Basketball Team Saturday afternoon, and led to a Storm defeat 71-66.

The Storm played a back and forth game and had a lead going into the fourth quarter, but the Duhawks outscored the Storm 23-15 in the fourth to claim victory. Noreen Morrow led all scorers with 23 while also grabbing nine rebounds. The Storm Men’s Team fell behind early and could never quite recover against the Duhawks, falling 73-65. Sam Amsbaugh scored 19 while DJ Dafney grabbed eight boards, but the Storm bench was outscored 25-14. The Women fall to 4-9 overall and 1-3 in conference play, while the Men are 9-4 and 2-2 in conference play.
