Pella’s boys topped Oskaloosa in bowling on Saturday afternoon, while the Indian girls got the better of the Lady Dutch.

In boys’ action, Pella topped the Oskaloosa 2,839 – 2,679. The Dutch were lead in round 1 by Matt De Jong and Dakota Shalin. Matt had a new personal best game (235) on his way to breaking his own school record series (461).

Dakota had the team’s high game with a 244 and set a new personal new personal best series (452).

On the girls’ side, Oskaloosa topped Pella 2,172 – 1,939. The Lady Dutch had another outstanding performance as Kaia VanderWerf, Kirsten Veenstra, and Taylor Divelbiss all had personal best days.

Kaia set new personal best for game (159) and series (271), Kirsten had a personal best series (307). Taylor broke her own school and personal records with for game (180) and series (312).
