Families First of Pella aims to promote childhood literacy at their biannual Book Bash event tomorrow.

Director Jodi Bokhoven says Families First encourages all children to read through the Early Literacy Mentoring Association (E.L.M.A.).

She says they will have activities based on Giraffes Can’t Dance by Giles Anderae, and the first 100 families with children ages 0-5 that come to the Pella Public Library between 10 to 11:30 a.m. will receive a copy.
