The deadline to apply for the aid from the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation is only a month away.

Current and previous graduates of Knoxville High School continuing their education are eligible for a $500 scholarship if they complete an application. Kurt Froyen of the Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation tells KNIA/KRLS News last year saw record-breaking applications for the scholarships. The foundation gave out 187 scholarships, more than any previous year of their now 14-year-old program. The deadline is March 1. For more information click here for the Foundation website.
