It’s been a busy and successful season thus far for Pella High School’s show choirs.

Senior Kara Schaudt tells KNIA/KRLS News both the varsity group Acapella and JV group Bravo have earned high marks in competitions over the past month. She says the varsity performance combines numerous components.

“We just try to get a lot of choreography and this show in particular adds a lot of acting,” she says.

Vocal Music Teacher Michelle Chaplin says show choir features students from many different specialties from the school, to those involved in Forte, speech, music, band, and athletics, among others.
