The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad fell to Eddyville-Blakesburg last night 52-38. The Panthers fell behind early but clawed their way back to within six at the half, then got to within two in the third quarter, but the Rockets made big shots to lengthen the lead back out. Coach Jim Uitermarkt told KNIA/KRLS that, and turnovers did in the Panthers. Katie Keitges scored 18 points for Knoxville who fall to 7-12 on the season and 6-5 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers will be joined by the boys Thursday night as Chariton comes to Panther Gym.
