The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from midnight
tonight to noon CST Wednesday.
* TIMING…Snow will begin in western Iowa around midnight and
spread east across the remainder of central and southern Iowa by
Wednesday morning.
* STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…2 to 4 inches.
* WINDS/VISIBILITY…Winds from the northwest averaging around 10
mph will cause isolated areas of reduced visibility.
* IMPACTS…Travel difficulties may result from snow covered
roads.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
