Students at Pella High School will have a chance to showcase what they learned next week.

Principal Eric Nelson says the annual Excellence in Electives night Monday highlights students involved in a variety of programs.

“We’ll have multiple electives presenting stuff everywhere from Project Lead the Way classes about some of the engineering things, to ag, to industrial tech,” he says. “Family consumer science will be cooking food and have their appetizers throughout the night, and we’ll have some of the foreign languages do some song and dance.”

There will also be select performances by musical groups at the school. Nelson tells KNIA/KRLS News parents coming for conferences have responded very positively to the showcase in years past.

Excellence in Electives is scheduled during parent-teacher conferences Monday evening.
