The Pella Fire Department is teaming with the Pella Pizza Ranch to raise funds for the annual Fight for Air Climb in April next week.

Fire Chief Doug Van Gorkom tells KNIA/KRLS News they are gathering teams to support the American Lung Association.

Firefighters will be bussing tables and delivering pizzas beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday. The department is handing out special coupons this week that will help boost donations to the American Lung Association through the evening’s activities, and those planning to help raise funds are encouraged to bring them to the event.
