The Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance has been organizing since the group formed from the Pella Chamber of Commerce, PADCO, and Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau at the beginning of the year.

Last week, the PACE Alliance formalized priorities for six working councils, all with the goal of economic and community development.

Tim Te Grootenhuis is the owner of Culver’s and served on the Pella Chamber board and with the Pella Area Development Corporation (PADCO), and says they wanted to combine the resources of organizations with similar community goals to give a better focus to issues affecting local industries and retailers.

The PACE Alliance Board of Director seats will be finalized and formally elected during the Annual Membership Meeting on February 24th.
