Marion County residents have been appointed by Governor Terry Branstad to numerous boards and commissions.

Daniel Deutschman of Pella has been selected for the Board of Dietetics, Megan McKay of Pella to the Economic Development Authority, Carol Crane of Knoxville has been chosen for the Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board, Cindy Crawford of Pleasantville to the Board of Sign Language Interpreters, and Leslie Duinink has been appointed to the Board of Chiropractic. The terms begin on May 1st, subject to Iowa Senate confirmation.
