Local high school FFA students received gold this past Saturday at the district convention and will now advance to the State FFA Competition at the State Convention.

Mickayla McGill will represent Knoxville as she received a 1st Gold. Knoxville also received Gold Alternates for Chapter Program Team and Experience the Action Team. Pella will be represented by Chandler Jahner who advances to state after receiving gold for Extemporaneous Speaking. Twin Cedars will send Kate Coalbank, who received a gold in creed speaking, Pay Dykstra and Trenton McDonald, who each received gold in welding, the Experience the Action team, and the CSI team both advanced and move onto state. The State FFA Convention will take place in Ames on Monday, April 10th and Tuesday, April 11th.
