Twin Cedars High School Principal Dave Roby sent a two vehicle convoy carrying 16 students as well as teachers to Seymour on Tuesday to help with cleanup after an EF2 tornado damaged parts of the town Monday night.

Twin Cedars High School Football Coach Aaron Allspach, who led the group to Seymour, tells KNIA/KRLS News it was a daunting, surreal feeling as the group drove into town. The students helped pick up loose debris around Seymour High School, which had parts of the football field and gymnasium heavily damaged. Twin Cedars High School was planning a second trip down to help out, but received word from Seymour High School that the situation is considered too dangerous until certain areas and materials can be cleaned up.
