On the heels of being named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association’s All-State Team earlier this week, Pella seniors Katie Vander Molen and Kiara Bradley have been named to the class 4-A all-state team by the Iowa Newspaper Association. In addition, PCM’s Regan Freland was recognized in class 3-A.

Vander Molen was choosen for the INA’s first-team, while Bradley was a third-team selection. Freland was also a third-team pick.

Vander Molen was Pella’s distributor, accumulating 70 assists during the season while also grabbing 48 steals. She passed the 1,000 point mark for her career as she averaged 10.8 points per game. Bradley led Pella with 12.2 points and just over 7 rebounds per game.

The duo led the Lady Dutch to a 20-5 record this season and a trip to the state semifinals last week.

Freland, just a freshman, led PCM with 13.4 points per game. She was also the Mustangs leader in steals, with 78 on the season.

PCM had a 20-5 record and also earned a trip to the state tournament.
