Pleasantville High School will present “Twelve Angry Jurors” at the Pleasantville High School Event Center (old gym) on Thursday, April 6th and Saturday, April 8th at 7 p.m.

“Twelve Angry Jurors” originally titled “Twelve Angry Men,” was written for television in 1954 and soon adapted into a stage play and a classic film starring Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb. It has been widely performed on stage and television ever since. The drama focuses on the deliberations by a jury in a murder trial. As the day wears on, tensions rise and the individual jurors’ biases and motivations are revealed, leading to the climactic verdict. Cast member Joseph Culp tells KNIA/KRLS News people should see the play because it’s very engaging, intense, gritty and there is shouting. Tickets for the show are $5 for adults and $3 for students. The Saturday evening showing will include a dinner at 6:00 pm. Tickets for Saturday’s dinner and the show are $12. People may also attend only the show on Saturday for the regular ticket price.
