The spring sports season is in full swing, and all eight Pella High School teams are in action later today.
The lone squad yet to make their debut is the Pella boys golf team, after they had their first meet at Pine Knolls Country Club postponed. The Little Dutch head to DCG for a triangular. Head Coach Bob Fessler says his younger squad will have a chance to prove themselves early in the conference against the Mustangs and Norwalk.
Pella’s girls golfers are at home with conference newcomer Indianola and Woodward-Granger beginning at 4:15. Both tennis teams are facing the Warriors of Norwalk, with the girls hosting and the boys on the road.
The Little and Lady Dutch track and field teams are bound for Nevada. Pella’s boys soccer team is hosting Fairfield in the home opener at 5:30 with JV and Varisty on the docket, while the girls are traveling to Bondurant-Farrar for a makeup.
