Three area spring sports teams will be in action for Pleasantville High School tonight, the boys golf team, girls track, and boys track teams in separate events.

The boys golf squad gets their season started on their home course at the Pleasantville Golf and Country Club, and includes Knoxville, Carlisle, Martensdale-St. Mary’s, and Melcher-Dallas. The squad has three freshman and a pair of sophomores supplemented by varsity veteran junior Caleb Adreon.

The boys track team travels to traditional track power Collins-Maxwell-Baxter along with area school PCM and other various Heart of Iowa Conference schools, while the girls are looking to get some relay team experience by traveling to Ballard High School for a meet.
