Peoples Bank in Pleasantville and the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics celebrated their expansion in Pleasantville Thursday evening at Memorial Hall in Pleasantville.

Peoples Bank recently announced it will donate its current Pleasantville branch building to the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics allowing the hospital to continue to provide service to the people of Pleasantville. Kevin Halterman, President and CEO for Peoples Bank tells KNIA/KRLS News the bank wanted to help the community continue to grow and donating the building made perfect sense in helping Pleasantville. Kevin Kincaid, CEO of the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics tells KNIA/KRLS News the hospital wants to modernize the building and provide better services to the city of Pleasantville and it would not have been possible without the generosity from Peoples Bank. Peoples Bank hopes to break ground on their new 4,000 square foot facility in early May, and hopes to be open for business in early 2018.
