The Marion County Fair Queen application deadline is Friday.

The competition is scheduled for Saturday, June 24th. The winner of the competition will then be named the 2017 Marion County Fair Queen, and will preside over the Marion County Fair from July 14th through July 20th, and will also represent Marion County at the Iowa State Fair in August. Applications can be picked up at local high school offices with the competition open to girls 16 to 21 years of age. Being a 4-H or FFA member is not a requirement for becoming queen.
