Hundreds of people are expected to participate in the annual Klompen Classic and kick off Tulip Time activities in downtown Pella.
Crossroads Director Jim Hibma says the 5K features approximately 2000 walkers and runners each year. He says proceeds benefit Crossroads of Pella’s numerous assistance programs.
Race day registration begins at 4 p.m. on the west side of Central Park downtown. The Kids Classic starts at 6 with a new route beginning at the Vermeer Windmill. Lineups for the 5K begins at 6:45 p.m. at the corner of Main and Washington Street.
