Today is the final day of the 82nd annual Tulip Time Celebration in Pella.
Thousands of visitors are expected to pack the streets of the Tulip City throughout today’s activities.
The Dutchesses, Family Singers, and numerous marching bands will perform in the final parades, including the lighted Volks parade at 8:30 p.m.
Steering Committee Member Paul Jones says tonight’s highlighted entertainment has ties to Pella, and is the newlywed band Brad and Kate, that will present an acoustic music set tonight.
The community is also invited to a worship service at the Vermeer Pavilion Sunday at 11 a.m., led by Tim Brand with Many Hands for Haiti. The thanksgiving service will be live on KNIA/KRLS. Tune into KNIA/KRLS as we broadcast live updates from the Big Red Radio during the 82nd annual Tulip Festival.
