The Central College softball team is in Decorah today for the Iowa Conference tournament.

In first round action yesterday, Wartburg beat Buena Vista 6-2 and Loras upset Coe 5-4 in nine innings.

The Knights will take on regular season champion and top seeded Luther this morning at 11:00, followed by Central’s game against the Duhawks at 1:30. The two winners will meet for the championship game, which is schedule for 4:00.

Luther, Central and Coe are all virtual locks for the 62-team NCAA tournament field, which will be announced on Monday. The winner of the IIAC tournament will be guaranteed a bid.
