The Iowa State Extension Office of Marion County will be conducting a Fairy Garden Workshop tomorrow evening.

The workshop will serve as an introduction on how to properly set up a fairy garden. Office and Horticulture Assistant for the Iowa State Extension Office of Marion County, Lauren Peterson tells KNIA/KRLS News fairy gardens are an up and coming decoration for your home or garden outdoors. Peterson says it’s a great way to add color to your garden and fun for both children and adults to use their imagination. The workshop costs $10 to register with a pot, soil, one plant, rocks and moss included in the registration fee. The workshop will run from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m at the extension office. Participants may also purchase other fairy garden furniture, decor, and plants following the workshop.
