Former Knoxville Baseball Standout Tony Salato completed his second season at Marshalltown Community College. Salato earned The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference first team all-region 11 team. He played in 53 games for the Tigers this season he recorded 57 hits and drove in 40 teammates. Salato also bated an average of 326…and held a 417 on-base percentage. Marshalltown’s season ended this past weekend in the I-C-C-A-C Regional 11 tournament.
