Construction season is in full swing as crews aim to improve roads throughout the county.

Delays can be expected throughout the area, including in and around Pella. Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian says work will wrap up soon on T-17 along Elevator Road down to Highway 92, which is the highest volume county road.

He says the Old Highway 163 Overlay from the Pella city limits to the Mahaska County Line is now underway, which should take a few weeks to complete.
