The Knoxville Baseball and Softball Squads got their separate ways tonight. The Baseball Panthers travel to Winterset for their third game of the season. Knoxville is coming off getting swept by Oskaloosa in its season opening double header on Tuesday. In that game Coach Matt Miller used eight different pitchers in the twin bill. The Panthers have dominated the series with the Huskies over the years. The Softball Panthers travel to Bondurant-Farrar. While they have lost by a combined score of 20-5, Coach Steph Christner tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls are not that far off. Eighth-grader Reilly Finarty has been in the circle to start both of Knoxville’s games.
