Three homeruns by Eddyville-Blakesburg the last being the game ender was too much for Knoxville to overcome last night in a 12-0 loss to the Rockets in softball action. E-B-F did not waste time getting started by plating three runs in its half of the first inning and added to that total to send everyone home after three innings. Lucy Olson represented the lone hit for Knoxville, a single in the third inning. Rielly Finarty took the loss going two innings giving up eight runs on seven hits, three walks and one strikeout while Jada Agan pitched the last inning in relief. Panthers Coach Steph Christner tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Finarty while young, is progressing nicely and learning about varsity play. Knoxville is now 2-3 on the season and 0-1 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers will head to Centerville today for two games against Moulton-Udell and Central Lee.
