The Knoxville Public Library will hold their Capital Campaign Kick-Off event Friday.

The event will feature a short presentation as well as speakers from the library as well as Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch. The project will expand library space, services and access to technology for the residents of Knoxville and rural Marion County and will allow the Knoxville Public Library to meet the growing demands of increased library usage. Knoxville Public Library Board of Trustees and campaign co-chair, Harv Sprafka, tells KNIA/KRLS News the library will be making a special announcement during the kick-off. The event will begin at 1 p.m. and take place in front of the library.
