Both Pleasantville squads of summer were taken down on a road trip the Martensdale-St. Mary’s last night, the baseball team falling 12-2 in six innings, and the softball team 10-0.

Kyle Amendt took the loss on the mound, while Owen Worthington had a 1-2 night with an RBI. Andie Sowers paced the Trojan softball squad on offense, with a 2-2 night. The baseball team falls to 2-2 and next plays Melcher-Dallas tonight, while the softball team is now 3-2 and host Van Meter.
