The Knoxville Public Library’s Capital Campaign Kick-Off event is today.

The event will take place in front of the library. The event will feature a short presentation covering the process the library has taken to get to where they stand today with fundraising for a new addition. Library representatives as well as Knoxville Mayor Brian Hatch will all speak during the event which will also include an unveiling of how much money the library has raised so far. The kick-off will begin at 1 p.m.
