The PCM baseball team had an early lead over conference rival North Polk last night but couldn’t hold in a 2-1 loss.

Ethan Thomas scored the Mustangs only run early on a Comets error, but that would be all the offense PCM could muster despite having the bases loaded with no outs in the fourth. Thomas had two hits for the Mustangs, while freshman hurler Dane Owens picked up the tough luck loss in relief. PCM falls to 4-2 on the season, and turn right around and play Gilbert tonight on the road.
