Registration is now open for an upcoming event to raise awareness of the consequences of drinking and driving.
A Wheels and Wings Memorial Ride to help raise awareness and to honor Clayton Harsin’s memory is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd. Harsin was killed on his motorcycle after being hit by a drunk driver in August of 2014. The ride is $20 per vehicle with all proceeds going to the Knoxville City Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. A Wheels and Wings Garage Sale Fundraiser will be held this Friday and Saturday, June 9th and 10th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. T-shirts for the ride as well as logo decals will be available for purchase at the garage sale. The sale will take place at 514 South Roche Street in Knoxville. People may also pick up order forms to purchase T-Shirts by stopping in at 10 Knoxville locations.
