Patrick Crawford’s double in the bottom of the seventh allowed the Knoxville Baseball Squad to walk off and stay unblemished in the South Central Conference last night against Davis County 6-5. Knoxville scored three runs in the second inning but trailed 5-3 heading into the sixth when a run came home to make it 5-4, then Crawford with two outs in the bottom of the seventh stroked a double to win the game. Justin Little was 2/3 on the night while Blake McClung and Jacob Zuck had two singles. McClung got the win in relief striking out the side in the seventh. Coach Matt Miller tells KNIA/KRLS Sport offensively the guys are starting to improve. Miller adds last night’s win could be a defining moment in the season with how they came back to win. Knoxville is now 10-2 on the season and 9-0 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers will play in the Carlisle Invitational today. The Knoxville Softball Squad also won as the Panthers took down Davis County two/one. Knoxville will have the weekend off before taking on Pella Tuesday.
