There are only two more chances to see the Knoxville Area Community Theatre’s presentation of the comedic play “Arsenic and Old Lace.”
The shows will take place tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center and again on Saturday with the final showing at 2 p.m. “Arsenic and Old Lace” was first produced on Broadway in 1941 and tells the story of the Brewster sisters who view their poisoning of lonely old men as an act of charity. Director for the play Greg May tells KNIA/KRLS News the play is appropriate for all ages except maybe toddlers but all ages are welcome. May adds, May adds, we had a lot of positive responses to the show in the first weekend and don’t want others to miss out. Tickets can be purchased by cash or check at the door for $10.00 one hour before the performance.
