A groundbreaking for the Bryan Clauson Suite Tower was held Thursday afternoon at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum.
The Bryan Clauson Suite Tower will be a new addition and a way for the museum to memorialize Clauson after his sudden passing in August of last year following a crash at the Belleville Midget Nationals in Kansas. Clauson’s family, fiance, and friends which included NASCAR drivers Kyle Larson, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Ryan Newman were all on hand and spoke during the groundbreaking. Clauson’s fiance Lauren Stewart told the audience every time Clauson visited Knoxville he would visit the museum and tell everyone “someday, someday I hope to be in here.” Thursday also marked what would have been Bryan Clauson’s 28th birthday. The new addition will feature an observation deck as well as 12 new suites located in turn two of the Knoxville Raceway.
