The Knoxville Softball Squad got off to a strong start at the Keokuk Invitational yesterday. The Panthers started the day with an 8-0 win over Moravia as Maddy Findley had two R-B-I and Jada Agan pitched a four hit shutout. The Panthers would come back to play Seymour later in the day, and the Warriors got a 4-3 win over the Panthers. Lucy Olson led Knoxville Panthers Varsity with one run batted in going one-for-three for the game. Game three saw the Panthers lose 11-1 to the host Chiefs. Knoxville captured the lead in the first inning with a Maddy Findley R-B-I in the first inning. The Panthers would hold that leads until the fifth innings when Keokuk plated 11 runs to end the game early. Knoxville will travel to Albia tonight.
